Ideas for story
Ideas for story
Vampire
Horror comic?
Lonely vampire?
Evil vampire has found someone she wants to make a vampire.
Follows them and watches them. Lurking around in the darkness, always quiet.
A nice girl notices she is being followed and realises something is not right with her.
Image of good girl looking confused as if she knows there is something wrong with her.
Eventually attacks girl making her a vampire.
Girl notices the changes, pale skin, and exquisite eye sight.
Evil vampire tries to make her evil by killing humans for fun and for food.
Good girl refuse to be evil.
Making one good one bad?

Project Proposal
Project Proposal
Negotiated Final Project
PHVP2406 Research and Practice in Still and Moving image Production
Sarah Bridgman
What is the idea behind your project?
My idea for this project is to base my photographs on the style of a comic book, and have a story to them. I want to include they style of comic books in to it and maybe have text in them. I would also like to display my photographs like a comic book.
I will look into regular stories used in comics and develop my own story, and use that as the basis to my photographs.
I want my work to be seen as a comic book, but instead of drawings or cartoon images I will use photographs.
I will use the style that is regularly used in the drawings in my photographs, like the actions of the characters and look of them.
I am interested in doing this as project, as think it will be different idea, and I do enjoy reading comics. I think it will be interesting to see how it would look in the end. I also like the stories which are used in comics and think they would make good photographs. It is always interesting when films use comics as their base. It would be exciting to see how it would look in photographs.
What do you want to achieve through this work?
I want to achieve an exciting and interesting piece of work. I want it to work well and for the viewers to think that it is a good idea and an interesting way to have a comic book. I want to have an exciting story but also an easy one to describe through photographs and maybe text.
I think either viewers would like it or hate it, some people would prefer an actual comic some others might enjoy the change.
What research and development have you defined for the project?
I am going to thoroughly research comics and their stories. I will look at the mains comics such marvel comics and magna (Japanese.) I am also going to look at films that are based on comics.
I want to have my story before I take my photographs, so I know exactly what I need for my photographs. Like models and equipment.
I think I will have most of photographs outside, on location, so I need to consider where I could do this.
I will regularly add up dates on my blog as a diary to myself to help me with my development, I will also have an R and D book.
How feasible is the project?
I think one of the problems which may arise is locations for my photographs, because i don’t know Leicester that well. I need to ask people who live here for advice.
I also need to consider what colours I want use in it, as comics have bright colours in them, I think I will have to do some work on this in Photoshop.
